This free turkey crochet pattern is a fun way to celebrate the season!

Tiffin the Turkey








Supplies:

  • Bernat blanket or baby blanket yarn in five colors (one skein of each). Or use any color combo!

  • Fiber fill or similar filling for stuffing

  • Safety eyes 15 mm (solid black)

  • Large sewing needle

  • Size G 5.0 mm crochet hook


For this crochet pattern you will need the following stitches:


  • mc=magic circle

  • sc=single crochet

  • 2 sc in one stitch=increase (inc)

  • 2 sc together=decrease (dec)

  • dc=double crochet


All crocheted in the round and using the invisible decrease (decreasing only using the front loops)

Chain 24, slip stitch into first stitch to make a circle

  1. Mc with 6 stitches

  2. Inc in each stitch (12)

  3. (1sc, inc) x 6 (18)

  4. Crochet sides together with 8 stitches (8)

  5. First stitch :sl; second stitch: sl, ch 8, sl; third stitch sl; fourth stitch sl; fifth stitch sl, ch 8, sl; sixth stitch sl; seventh stitch sl; eighth stitch sl, ch 8, sl finish off.

The “toes” will be loops. Sew the loops together to make the “toes”. See photo below
