Easy ghost crochet pattern! Gigi the Friendly ghost will get you into the Halloween spirit!

Gigi the Friendly Ghost

Supplies:

• Bernat blanket or baby blanket yarn in one color (one skein), and a small amount of another color yarn for the mouth. Or use any color combo!

• Fiber fill or similar filling for stuffing

• Safety eyes (small oval ones)

• Large sewing needle

• Size G 5.0 mm crochet hook

For this crochet pattern you will need the following stitches:

• mc=magic circle

• sc=single crochet

• 2 sc in one stitch=increase (inc)

• 2 sc together=decrease (dec)

• dc=double crochet

All crocheted in the round and using the invisible decrease (decreasing only using the front loops

Pattern for the head and body: pattern starts at the top of the head

1. Mc (6 stitches)

2. Inc in each stitch (12)

3. (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)

4. (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)

5. (3sc, inc) x6 (30)

6. (4 sc, inc) x6 (36)

7. (8sc, inc) x 4 (40)

8. 1 sc in each stitch (40)

9. 1 sc in each stitch (40)

10. 1 sc in each stitch (40)

11. 1 sc in each stitch (40)

12. 1 sc in each stitch (40)

13. (8sc, dec ) x 4 (36)

14. 1sc in each stitch (36)

15. (7sc, dec) x 4 (32)

16. 1 sc in each stitch (32)

17. (6sc, dec) x 4 (28)

Start stuffing the body and keep stuffing as you go. Place eyes between rows 8 and 9 with 4-5 stitches between. Sew a smile on as well.

2. This round is worked in the front loops only. 4 dc in first stitch, skip the next stitch, slip stitch in the next stitch, Repeat this pattern until the end of the round.
